  1. What is DUPR, and how does it relate to my rating?

DUPR stands for Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating. It’s a global rating system used to evaluate a player’s skill level, based on match results rather than just assessments or drills.

🔢 How does DUPR work?

  • DUPR uses an algorithm that tracks your performance in games (both wins and losses).
  • It considers who you playhow close the scores are, and whether games are singles or doubles.
  • The more games you log, the more accurate your DUPR becomes.

🧾 How do I get a DUPR rating?

  1. Create a free account at mydupr.com or through the DUPR app.
  2. Link your account with Calgary Pickleball Club!!
  3. Record your matches—this can be done automatically through tournaments or manually via partner verification.
  4. You need a minimum of 25 scored matches for your rating to stabilize.

🏓 How does CPC use DUPR?

  • CPC accepts DUPR as proof of your skill level for lessons, drills, and rated events.
  • For example, to join 3.0+ sessions or clinics, you must have an existing club, IPTPA, CTPR, CLUB or DUPR rating with at least 40 games logged.
  • You can also attend CPC’s rating sessions when available to help get a starting point if you don’t have one yet.
  • You can also get your rating at a session hosted by Mega courts or the Calgary Pickleball Center. Please send proof to membership@calgarypickleballclub.ca
